Job summary

C3 Industries seeks a Senior Analytics Engineer to design, build, and govern enterprise data models powering analytics across Retail, Cultivation, Manufacturing, and Finance. You will transform raw data into reusable Snowflake models, migrate logic from reports into a governed layer, and influence data strategy as the business expands.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a technical field.
• Four+ years building production data models and pipelines in a cloud data warehouse.
• Strong SQL skills with window functions and performance tuning.
• Experience with dbt or similar transformation frameworks.
• Power BI experience with semantic models and DAX.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain Snowflake transformation models for multiple business units.
• Refactor Power BI datasets into governed, tested warehouse models.
• Build ingestion pipelines from source systems and consolidate external data.
• Define consistent modeling standards including dimensions and shared masters.
• Implement automated data quality testing and monitoring; own failures.
• Document models and lineage for self-serve analytics.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate reporting needs into durable models.
• Support BI tooling and evaluate new platforms (e.g., Fabric, Looker, Sigma).
• Mentor analysts on SQL, modeling, and data quality.
