Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent work experience in a related field
• 5 years of experience in software development
• 3 years of experience in database technologies
• 5 years of experience on projects involving the implementation of solutions applying development life cycles (SDLC)
• 3 years of experience in systems analysis, including defining technical requirements and performing high level design for complex solutions
• Experience in programming and software development including but not limited to RPG, Java, SQL, Angular, APIs design and implementation
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Demonstrated leadership and problem‑solving skills
• Knowledge of Java, Spring Boot, and APIs are required
• 3 Years of IT experience developing and implementing systems within an organization
• 3 Years of experience working with an application and integration middleware
• 3 Years of experience writing technical documentation in a software development environment
• 3 Years of experience working with source code control systems
• Experience working with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment tools
• Knowledge of RPG highly preferred
• Knowledge of Angular is a bonus

Responsibilities

• Provides consultation on business requirements and functional specifications in logical program designs, code modules, application systems, and software solutions
• Facilitates the transition to high level design and supports the project lifecycle with input from leadership where needed
• Reviews the development or modification of highly complex, enterprise level software solutions
• Performs design, mentorship, leadership, and hands‑on delivery of code in a 50/50 role
• Develops and validates highly complex software design prototypes according to company architecture standards
• Contributes technical direction for integrated business and enterprise application solutions across computing environments
• Provides insight and guidance for the design and coding of component‑based applications
• Ensures detailed functional and/or technical requirements, design, and test scripts are documented for enhancements
• Manages code and the implementation‑to‑production process according to IT compliance and auditing policies
• Serves as technical lead for project teams throughout implementation and maintenance of enterprise software solutions
• Partners with technology teams and business leaders to resolve escalated issues
• Mentors and advises others on company and industry methodologies, policies, standards, and controls
• Recommends options, risks, costs, and benefits for software solution designs
• Identifies interfaces and methods required to support software solutions
• Facilitates implementation and maintenance of complex business and enterprise software solutions for successful deployment of released applications
• Personally develops and delivers code modules, stable application systems, integrated enterprise software solutions, and architectural diagrams
