Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• 5+ years Java development with enterprise architecture ownership.
• 5+ years SDLC governance and API security standards.
• 3+ years people management or technical leadership.
• 3+ years owning Level 1 production support strategy for business-critical systems.
• Experience monitoring and remediating vulnerabilities across production releases.
• Experience with AWS EKS and containerization preferred.
• Experience with CI/CD tooling (Jenkins, CloudBees, ArgoCD) preferred.
• Experience defining governance frameworks and quality/security guardrails for AI-assisted development tools preferred.
• Financial services or insurance industry experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end design, development, and delivery of technology-enabled applications, products, and services.
• Design and develop technical solutions for new software development and enhancement efforts.
• Coordinate coding and unit testing phases and facilitate code reviews.
• Approve domain solutions and execute changes according to implementation plans.
• Liaise with senior leadership on project, operational, and strategy risks and opportunities, including corrective action plans.
• Manage project and operational commitments, including quality and timeliness metrics.
• Contribute to process improvements, cost reduction efforts, and tool development to simplify and improve software development and support.
• Align initiatives with the platform technical and business roadmap.
• Manage direct-report performance through feedback and formal reviews.
• Deliver exceptional services while supporting engagement, motivation, and development.
