The North Carolina Department of Transportation in Guilford County is seeking an Engineering Technician III to lead project inspection on highway construction projects. The role involves supervising technicians, monitoring daily progress, solving constructability issues, and ensuring work is built to plans and specifications.

Candidates should have an associate degree in Civil Engineering Technology or Survey Technology and at least three years of progressive technician experience; certification

Competenze

Bachelor-level? not required. Associate degree and 3 years progressive technician experience.
Experience applying engineering concepts to solve problems in highway construction.
Ability to communicate with engineers, contractors and the public.
