Duke Energy is seeking a Lead Engineer in the Production Standards group from Charlotte, NC, to drive relay settings standards for transmission substation protection. This role requires strong technical leadership, independent work, and adherence to safety and regulatory requirements.

Applicants should have a PE license, a BS in Electrical Engineering, and extensive experience with protection systems, coordination studies, and relay logic. Hybrid work arrangement post-onboarding is available.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET-accredited program; PE license required.
• Eight years of related engineering work experience.
• Experience with protection system design, relay settings, and substation protection concepts.

• Lead the development of production standards used by P&C Settings and P&C Design for transmission substation protection.
