Job summary

Target is seeking a Lead Program Manager for Integrated Energy Strategy & Resilience within the Energy & Sustainability Team. The role focuses on defining enterprise energy approaches, aligning roadmaps, and delivering architecture for on-site generation and reliability across stores.

The position requires strong leadership, analytical and financial acumen, and ability to influence without direct authority across multiple functions. Remote or hybrid work arrangements are possible.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (BA/BS).
• 7+ years of business experience in energy, utilities, facilities, engineering, resilience, sustainability, finance, technology, or related field.
• Proven ability to design, communicate, and advance enterprise strategy from ambiguity through roadmap, governance, and execution.
• Experience integrating multiple asset, technology, or infrastructure roadmaps into a cohesive portfolio strategy.

Responsibilities

• Define and advance Target’s enterprise energy strategy and resilience.
• Lead integrated portfolio strategy across solar, generators, batteries, microgrids, EV charging, and related assets.
• Partner with asset, demand-side program, controls technology teams to connect roadmaps and prioritize opportunities.
• Build integrated business cases and translate results into scalable roadmaps for store needs and corporate strategy.
• Communicate with cross-functional teams and executives to ensure alignment and buy-in.
