Job summary

SOLV Energy is seeking an Acceptance Testing Technician, Energy Storage - Level 2 for remote work with heavy travel to substations and PV facilities. You will manage testing, maintenance, troubleshooting, and report writing, ensuring safety and adherence to NET A standards.

This role emphasizes leadership of junior technicians and coordination with clients. Requirements include 3–5 years as an electrician testing technician, OSHA 30, NFPA 70e, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 3–5 years of electrician testing technician experience in substations or BESS yards.
• OSHA 30 certification required.
• Ability to travel 75% of the time.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Direct and supervise site testing, maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting as directed by management.
• Perform energized electrical work strictly adhering to safety standards.
• Prepare timely and accurate documentation and required reports.
• Lead and train Testing Technician Level I employees and review test results.
• Coordinate with clients, vendors, and teammates to ensure safe, compliant operations.
• Develop and write SOPs and safety procedures as needed.
