Job summary

Linxon is seeking a Lead Engineer for Energy and Infrastructure Projects in Raleigh, NC, offering a hybrid work arrangement. You will own engineering execution from proposal to energization, manage budgets, enforce schedules, and drive safe, cost-efficient designs across AIS, GIS, BESS, and wind initiatives.

You will lead cross-disciplinary teams, set technical vision, evaluate vendors, and ensure compliance with contract requirements, quality standards, and safety norms.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of engineering or project management experience in EPC environments.
• Bachelor or Master degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Strong budgeting, scheduling, and risk management capabilities.
• Proven leadership of multi-disciplinary teams on complex energy projects.

Responsibilities

• Own engineering execution from proposal through energization with contract compliance.
• Manage engineering budget and drive cost-efficient decisions.
• Enforce schedule discipline delivering complete packages on time.
• Define design criteria and deliverables plan with risk awareness.
• Lead vendor evaluation and subcontract strategy.
• Ensure safety-compliant, standards-aligned designs.
• Audit design packages for accuracy and constructability.
• Validate vendor compliance and witness factory acceptance tests.
• Partner with Project Manager to strengthen scope control and procurement.
• Champion quality and document control for audit readiness.
• Lead customer technical engagements and issue resolution.
• Support construction by addressing site technical questions and NCRs.
