Job summary

Anoka County is seeking a Lead End User Support Engineer in Anoka, MN, to manage a co-managed fleet of ~2,500 Windows devices plus Macs and mobile devices. You will administer Windows endpoint platforms, domain services, and Microsoft 365 apps, while providing escalated support for VDI environments.

The role requires hands-on leadership, strong experience with MECM, Intune, AD, and M365, and the ability to drive enterprise endpoint initiatives across a large organization.

Qualifications

• Requires bachelor’s degree and 6+ years of related experience.
• Experience with MECM, Intune, and Active Directory in large environments.
• Ability to lead endpoint initiatives and communicate to non-technical audiences.
• Knowledge of Windows and macOS endpoint management platforms.
• Familiarity with VDI and mobile device management.

Responsibilities

• Lead endpoint engineering to ensure reliable, secure desktop systems.
• Research and adopt enterprise end-user technologies for 2,500+ devices.
• Lead discussions on solutions; define project plans and success criteria.
• Administer MECM, Intune, AD, M365, and VDI deployments and policies.
• Provide on-call after-hours escalation and mentoring to staff.
