VEG ER for Pets is seeking a Medical Director (MD) to guide a hospital toward medical excellence and VEG standards. This leadership role emphasizes servant leadership, mentorship, and collaborative culture.

You will own the hospital’s clinical direction, supervise doctors and technicians, and work with market leadership on growth strategies while maintaining a compassionate, patient-centered approach for pets and their families.

Qualifications

• DVM or DVM-equivalent degree required.
• Minimum 5+ years of traditional 24/7 ER experience and critical case management.
• Proven leadership and mentorship experience preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, noisy environment with strong odors.

Responsibilities

• Lead hospital teams to medical excellence according to VEG standards.
• Oversee recruitment strategy and staff development.
• Schedule management and cross-functional collaboration with market teams.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
