Job summary

General Atomics is seeking a senior software team lead to drive embedded control-system software development in a mission-critical environment. You will plan requirements, guide development, oversee testing, and assign technical work to engineers in a fast-paced program.

The role requires a strong background in C, C++, C#, and Python with testing automation, plus deep knowledge of embedded/RTOS systems and the ability to obtain DoD security clearance.

Qualifications

• Engineering or technical degree required with 12+ years (BS), 10+ years (MS), or 7+ years (PhD).
• Experience leading software teams and proficiency in C, C++, C#, and Python testing automation.
• Embedded and RTOS knowledge with ability to obtain/maintain DoD security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Lead a software team developing embedded control-system software, including planning requirements, development, testing, and technical work assignments.
• Investigate and resolve complex engineering issues, document and present findings, train team members, and communicate with project leadership and customers.
