Job summary

Milwaukee Tool is seeking a Firmware Test Engineering Manager to lead test strategy for new firmware architectures and embedded systems. You will guide a medium-sized team in testing, interfacing with hardware design, and ensuring on-time delivery against requirements.

You will drive test development, automation, and agile project leadership within a dynamic engineering environment. Travel up to 10% is possible.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
• 7+ years of experience with verification/validation testing, hardware in the loop testing, embedded systems and/or PCBA design.
• Ability to read schematics and component data sheets, understanding of digital circuits.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, execution, and troubleshooting efforts for test procedures related to firmware features and subsystems.
• Lead the design, review, and refinement of engineering requirements for test needs.
• Lead peer-review of test designs and automation.
• Develop test plans and drive consensus to enable delivery of firmware meeting requirements.
