Job summary

Milwaukee Tool seeks a Firmware Test Engineer I to design and execute tests for embedded firmware on our hardware platforms. You will collaborate with hardware and software teams throughout product development to ensure timely delivery of reliable firmware components.

Responsibilities include developing test procedures, refining requirements, and supporting automation and CI/CD efforts. Candidates should have a BS in EE/CE and hands-on experience with LabVIEW and NI hardware.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Electrical/Computer Engineering or related field.
• Experience with testing, embedded systems and PCBA design.
• Familiarity with lab equipment and reading schematics.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and troubleshoot firmware test procedures for embedded systems.
• Collaborate with hardware design and Agile teams to ensure on-time delivery.
• Review and refine engineering requirements for test needs.
• Support automation and CI/CD efforts in testing.
