Job summary
Milwaukee Tool is seeking a Firmware Test Engineering Manager in Brookfield, WI to lead test strategy for firmware architectures and embedded systems. You will manage a mid-sized team, collaborate with hardware design, and ensure on-time delivery of tested firmware that meets requirements.
The role requires leadership across disciplines, expertise in HIL/embedded testing, and experience with automation and CI/CD.
Qualifications
- 7+ years of verification/validation testing, hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) testing, embedded systems and/or PCBA design.
- 3+ years of leadership or project management experience with cross-discipline collaboration.
- Ability to travel up to 10% (Domestic and International).
Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, and execution of test strategies for firmware architectures and subsystems.
- Manage a medium-sized engineering team to support embedded systems testing.
- Interface with hardware design and cross-functional teams to translate system requirements into testable plans.
- Drive continuous improvement of test development and automation.
- Lead agile product development through milestones and risk assessment.
