Job summary

M.C. Dean, a leading builder of cyber-physical solutions, seeks an Electronics Technician 3 to join the Security and Electronic Systems (SES) unit.

You will perform on-site installations, maintenance, and testing of intrusion, access control, biometric, video, IT systems for federal, local, and commercial clients. Ideal candidates have 6+ years in electronics installation/maintenance, a HS diploma or relevant electronics program, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required and electronics training.
• 6+ years in electronics installation/maintenance on multiple systems.
• Strong oral, written, and presentation skills; team collaboration.
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Perform on-site installations, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs.
• Configure hardware/software, test systems, and deliver client tech support.
• Lead commissioning efforts and coordinate with owners/design teams.
• Maintain safety, QC, and documentation per plans and policies.
• Track tool inventories, material ordering, and ensure timely execution.
