Job summary

M.C. Dean is seeking an Electronics Technician 3 to join the Security and Electronic Systems (SES) unit.

The role involves on-site installations, maintenance, and commissioning of electronic security services including intrusion detection, access control, biometrics, and CCTV for federal, local, and commercial customers. Ideal candidates will have 6+ years in electronics installation/maintenance, strong communication skills, and experience working with multidisciplinary teams.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED is required.
• Graduation from electronics technician program or electrical apprenticeship.
• An additional three years of electronics installation and/or maintenance activities.

Responsibilities

• Performs on-site installations, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs of equipment and systems.
• Configures hardware and software, tests systems for proper operation, and provides technical support to customers.
• Leads commissioning efforts and represents M.C. Dean in meetings with owners and design teams.
• Communicates with project teams, other trades, and customers to ensure alignment and quality.
