Job summary

M.C. Dean, a leader in Building Intelligence, seeks an Electronics Technician 3 for its Security and Electronic Systems (SES) unit.

The role involves on-site installation, maintenance, testing, and support across intrusion, access control, video, and IT systems for federal, local, and commercial clients. Ideal candidates have 6+ years in electronics installation/maintenance, strong communication skills, and the ability to work with multidisciplinary teams.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of electronics installation and/or maintenance across multiple systems and programs.
• Strong oral, written and presentation skills.
• Experience working with multidisciplinary teams.
• Excellent time management and organization to meet deadlines and quality goals.
• MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint skills are a plus.
• Valid driver’s license; may require use of a company vehicle.
• Eligible driving record per company policy.

Responsibilities

• Execute on-site installations, maintenance, troubleshooting and repairs of equipment and systems.
• Perform site surveys, configure hardware and software, and test systems for proper operation.
• Provide technical customer support and communicate effectively with clients and team.
• Enforce safety plans and review design documentation for constructability.
• Lead commissioning activities and coordinate with owners and design teams.
• Maintain documentation, track tools and materials, and support planning.
