Job summary

M.C. Dean is seeking an Electronics Technician 3 to join the Security and Electronic Systems (SES) unit. You'll perform on-site installations, maintenance, and troubleshooting of IDS, access control, CCTV, and IT systems for diverse customers.

Ideal candidates have 6+ years of electronics experience, strong communication, and ability to work with multidisciplinary teams. A HS diploma or GED plus an electronics program or apprenticeship is required; TS/SCI clearance may be needed for some roles.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED is required.
• Graduation from Electronics Technician program or Electrical Apprenticeship.
• Six plus years of electronics installation/maintenance across multiple systems.
• Strong oral, written and presentation skills.
• Experience with multidisciplinary teams and meeting deadlines.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members.

Responsibilities

• Performs on-site installations, maintenance, troubleshooting and repairs of equipment and systems.
• Conducts site surveys, configures hardware/software, and tests systems.
• Provides technical support to customers and keeps documentation up to date.
• Leads by example, mentors crew members, and supports project teams.
• Keeps safety and quality control plans and records; communicates with owners and design teams.
