Job summary

M.C. Dean, Inc. is seeking an Electronics Technician 3 to join the Security and Electronic Systems (SES) unit.

The role involves on-site installation, maintenance, and testing of electronic security systems for federal, local, and commercial clients. You will work with intruder detection, access control, biometrics, video surveillance, and IT systems across high-growth markets. Preferred candidates have 4+ years in electronics installation, strong communication skills, and the ability to work

Qualifications

• 4+ years of electronics installation and/or maintenance on multiple systems.
• Strong oral, written and presentation skills.
• Experience working with multidisciplinary teams.
• Time management and organization skills to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Perform on-site installations, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs.
• Configure hardware and software; test systems for proper operation.
• Provide technical support to customers and communicate with teams.
• Lead safety practices and follow project safety plans.
• Participate in quality reviews of design documentation and constructability.
• Track project metrics and support resource planning meetings.
• Assist in commissioning activities and site surveys.
• Mentor crew members and encourage teamwork and innovation.
