Job summary

M.C. Dean is seeking an Electronics Technician 3 to join the Security and Electronic Systems (SES) unit.

You will perform on-site installations, maintenance, and testing of electronic security systems including intrusion detection, access control, CCTV, and IT networks for federal, local, and commercial clients. Ideal candidates have 6+ years of experience in electronics installation, possess a TS/SCI clearance, and can travel up to 25%.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of electronics installation and/or maintenance on multiple systems
• Strong oral, written and presentation skills
• Experience working with multidisciplinary teams
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record
• MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint knowledge is a plus

Responsibilities

• Performs on-site installations, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs of equipment and systems
• Conducts site surveys, configures hardware and software, tests systems for proper operation
• Leads commissioning activities and represents M.C. Dean in meetings with owners and design teams
• Communicates effectively with project teams, other trades, and customers
• Tracks project metrics and assists in safety and quality control tasks
