Job summary

Stanley Black & Decker in Towson, MD is seeking a Lead Electrical Engineering Technician to support test preparation, troubleshoot, and operate test rigs on site.

You will assemble fixtures, perform cells and packs testing, analyze results with data acquisition and Excel reporting, and communicate findings to the team.

Associate degree or technical certification in electrical field and 2+ years in electronics testing are required.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or technical certification in electrical or technical field is required.
• 2+ years of experience in electronics, electrical and environmental testing.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Knowledge of DC and AC circuitry and electronics assembly.
• Experience with data acquisition and Excel reporting.

Responsibilities

• Assist other technicians and engineers with test preparation and troubleshooting.
• Prepare cells and packs for testing (resistance welding, soldering, wiring).
• Perform cell and pack abuse, environmental and cycle life testing on various equipment.
• Assemble and repair fixtures and test setups.
• Perform equipment maintenance and repair; manage cell storage and recycling.
