Job summary

Comfort Systems USA is seeking a Foreman Electrician to lead and oversee a crew on electrical installation, alteration, and repair projects in commercial and industrial environments. You will mentor Journeymen, Apprentices, and Helpers, develop material lists, and ensure work meets NEC guidelines and project specifications.

The role requires strong leadership, teamwork, and the ability to read blueprints and schedules, with a focus on safety and on-time delivery.

Qualifications

7-10 years of electrical construction in commercial and/or industrial environments.
Demonstrates leadership abilities with the capability to grow in this area and coach teams of five.
Reading and understanding blueprints and contract-related documents of other trades on site.
Understands construction schedules and can follow them.
Focus on teamwork, safety, and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

Lead and mentor Journeyman, Helpers and Apprentices on the job site.
Work alongside the crew to ensure high-quality work.
Assist in developing an effective manpower schedule for the team.
Develop material lists from layouts and job site demands; communicate to supervision.
Help achieve production and budget goals through clear communication.
Ensure all crew work complies with local and NEC guidelines.
Measure, cut, bend, thread, assemble and install electrical conduit.
Install and terminate electrical devices, fixtures, panels, and feeders.
Read project specifications, blueprints, and schematics; layout work from drawings and docs.
Determine wire, conduit, and junction box sizing.
Troubleshoot lighting and general power circuits.
