Job summary

Comfort Systems USA is seeking a Foreman Electrician to lead a crew on electrical installation, alteration, and repair projects in commercial and industrial settings. You will supervise Journeymen, Apprentices, and Helpers, ensure work quality, and mentor the team on safety and best practices.

You will develop manpower schedules, read blueprints and schematics, and coordinate material lists with supervision. Expect overtime and field training as part of growth with the company.

Qualifications

• 7–10 years of electrical construction experience in commercial/industrial settings.
• Ability to lead, mentor, and coach a team of ~5 electricians.
• Reads blueprints and understands project specifications and schedules.
• Familiarity with safety and NEC guidelines; strong communication with trades.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor Journeyman, Helpers and Apprentices on the job site.
• Ensure quality of work to high standards with your crew.
• Develop manpower schedules for the team.
• Create material lists from layouts and site needs.
• Meet production and budget goals; convey needs to team.
• Adhere to local and NEC guidelines.
• Measure, cut, bend, thread, and install conduit.
• Install and terminate electrical devices and panels.
• Read project specs, blueprints, schematics.
• Lay out areas from drawings, including underground layout.
• Determine wire, conduit, junction box sizes.
• Troubleshoot lighting and power circuits.
