Job summary

Comfort Systems USA is seeking a Foreman Electrician to lead a crew of Helpers, Apprentices, and Journeyman electricians on commercial and industrial projects in Sterling, VA. You will mentor the team while overseeing installation, alteration, and repair of electrical systems and equipment.

Responsibilities include reading blueprints, preparing material lists, and ensuring NEC compliance. Strong leadership and 7–10 years of field experience are required to guide the crew effectively.

Qualifications

• 7–10 years of electrical construction experience in commercial/industrial settings.
• Proven leadership to guide a crew of five Helpers, Apprentices and Journeyman electricians.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and project documents.
• Experience coordinating material lists and schedules with supervision.
• Strong communication and teamwork across trades.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor Journeyman, Helpers and Apprentices on the job site.
• Ensure work quality meets highest standards and NEC guidelines.
• Develop manpower schedule for the team and manage materials.
• Install and terminate electrical devices and conduits per drawings.
• Coordinate with supervision and other trades to maintain schedule.
