Job summary

Comfort Systems USA is seeking a Foreman Electrician to lead a crew on commercial/industrial electrical projects in the Ashland, KY area. You will oversee Journeyman, Apprentices, and Helpers, ensuring quality, safety, and schedule adherence while reading blueprints, layouts, and project documents.

The role emphasizes leadership, coordination of material lists, and collaboration with supervision to meet production and budget goals, with regular on-site activities and potential overtime.

Qualifications

• 7–10 years of electrical construction experience in commercial/industrial environments.
• Ability to lead, mentor and coach a crew of five Helpers, Apprentices and Journeyman Electricians.
• Strong understanding of blueprints, specifications and project documents.
• Capability to develop manpower schedules and material lists.
• Willingness to work weekends/overtime as needed.
• Familiarity with NEC guidelines and on-site safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor Journeyman, Helpers and Apprentices on the job site.
• Work alongside their crew and ensure quality of work to the highest standards.
• Assist in the development of an effective manpower schedule for their team.
• Develop material lists from layouts, area prints, and job site demands and communicating lists to supervision.
• Help achieve production and budget goals by understanding what needs to be done and communicating that to the team.
• Ensure all work by crew complies with local and NEC guidelines.
• Measure, cut, bend, thread, assemble and install electrical conduit using tools.
• Install and terminate electrical devices, fixtures, panel boards, and feeders.
