Job summary

Comfort Systems USA in Missoula, MT seeks an experienced Foreman Electrician to lead a crew of Helpers, Apprentices, and Journeyman electricians on commercial/industrial projects.

You will install, troubleshoot, and oversee electrical systems, read blueprints, manage schedules, coach a five-person crew, ensure NEC compliance, and coordinate with supervision to meet budgets and timelines.

Qualifications

• 7–10 years of electrical construction experience
• Able to lead, mentor and coach teams of roughly five Helpers, Apprentices and Journeyman Electricians
• Reads and interprets project blueprints, schematics and specifications
• Develops material lists from layouts and communicates with supervision
• Understands and applies NEC guidelines and safety requirements

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor Journeyman, Helpers and Apprentices on the job site
• Ensure quality of work to highest standards
• Develop manpower schedules for the team
• Create material lists from layouts and job site demands
• Help achieve production and budget goals by communicating tasks to the team
• Ensure work complies with local and NEC guidelines
• Measure, cut, bend, thread, assemble and install electrical conduit
• Install and terminate electrical devices, fixtures and panels
• Read project specifications and blueprints
• Lay out work from drawings and documents including underground layouts
• Perform field layout using Trimble equipment
• Determine wire, conduit and junction box sizing
• Troubleshoot lighting and general power circuits
