Job summary

Basaran Grinder Corporation in Hauppauge, NY seeks an Electrical Automation Engineer Level 5, Principal or Lead, to guide platform architecture for electrical and automation systems across multiple machine families. This senior role requires deep hands-on expertise and a track record of delivering durable standards.

Qualifications

Experience in industrial automation, CNC controls and machine electrical engineering.
Proven ability to solve system-level problems and create durable standards.
Ability to compare architectures considering safety, performance, reliability and cost.

Responsibilities

Set long-term architecture for machine power, control panels, motion, safety and networks.
Recommend high-risk designs, platforms, suppliers and deviations from proven architecture.
Develop reusable standards, libraries, review gates and verification methods.
Lead technical recovery for difficult multi-system failures.
Guide cybersecurity, remote support and lifecycle decisions.
Mentor senior engineers and advise management on staff and tools.
