Basaran Grinder Corp. in Hauppauge, NY is seeking an Electrical Automation Engineer Level 3 Advanced to own the electrical and automation systems for CNC grinding machines. You will coordinate power, controls, motion, safety, networking, robotics, and field devices through design to factory acceptance testing.

The role requires leading design reviews, wiring diagrams, and integration with manufacturing teams. On-site work in Hauppauge, with competitive compensation and benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience designing and commissioning complete industrial automation systems.
• Advanced electrical CAD, component selection, PLC, HMI, drive, network, and troubleshooting capabilities.
• Ability to evaluate load, fault protection, heat, enclosure, grounding, noise, and safety requirements.
• Ability to lead a machine electrical schedule and manage design/startup risks.
• Clear documentation, change-control, and cross-functional communication habits.

Responsibilities

• Develop the complete electrical architecture for custom machines with extensive I/O, multiple drives, and peripheral equipment.
• Design power distribution, grounding, control panels, safety circuits, servo and VFD systems, networks, and machine interfaces.
• Develop PLC and HMI functions and coordinate CNC, robot, gauge, chiller, coolant, and automation interfaces.
• Lead electrical design reviews, risk reviews, panel checkout, commissioning, and factory acceptance testing.
• Troubleshoot integrated power, servo, communication, sequencing, safety, and reliability problems.
• Coordinate requirements and corrective actions across mechanical, software, manufacturing, applications, service, and suppliers.

Position Summary

Owns the electrical and automation system for a complete CNCgrinding machine or manufacturing cell. This engineer coordinates power,controls, motion, safety, networking, robotics, and field devices from designthrough factory acceptance testing.

Key Responsibilities

Required Qualifications

• Strong experience designing and commissioning complete industrialautomation systems

Preferred Experience ( 10+ years)

• FANUC CNC, PMC, servo, robot, or industrial-network experience
• Experience with 480 V systems, 100-plus I/O machines, safety PLCs, andcustomer acceptance testing

Delivers a complete machine electrical system that buildscorrectly, starts cleanly, and meets safety and performance requirements.

• Full-time position based primarily on-site in Hauppauge, New York
• Typical company schedule is Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 5:00p.m.; specific hours depend on the role
