Job summary

Vertiv seeks a Lead Electrical Engineer to troubleshoot, test, and inspect electrical power distribution systems, and to lead project activities. You will produce detailed reports and billable documentation, and supervise project aspects as needed.

The role requires NEC/NFPA knowledge, experience with 15 kV class switchgear testing, and strong communication skills. Willingness to travel 80% regionally and internationally is essential.

Qualifications

• Graduate Engineer with BSEE or BSME and no experience.
• Three years minimum same or similar work experience.
• Knowledge of the National Electrical Code and OSHA/NFPA.
• Passed NETA exam.
• Strong background in switchgear testing through the 15 kV class.
• Willing to travel internationally.

Responsibilities

• Test and maintain electrical power distribution systems.
• Troubleshoot relay calibration and use of load recording instrumentation.
• Test and troubleshoot complex electrical systems and power metering.
• Prepare detailed reports and complete project billing.
• Lead projects and contribute to business development.
