Job summary

CoVolt Power is seeking a field-based Construction Manager to assist the Project Management team in overseeing the electrical scope of utility-scale solar and BESS projects. You will ensure construction aligns with the owner’s contract and coordinate with the PM, CM, and estimating teams.

The role requires strong leadership, planning, and communication skills, with the ability to manage subcontractors and maintain site safety and quality across active projects.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years construction management experience on large utility, solar or wind energy projects.
• Experience managing the electrical scope for utility-scale solar projects.
• Experience with union and open shop site construction preferred.

Responsibilities

• Advocate for CoVolt Power by promoting all company policies and procedures and upholding Core Principles.
• Coordinate with Project Manager, Construction Manager, and Estimating during pre-bid and buyout stage.
• Supervise all subcontractors involved with the electrical scope and build strong relationships for accountability.
• Plan daily job activities, photos, reports, and maintain a clean, organized site trailer and jobsite.
• Resolve issues through face-to-face communication and proactive problem solving.
• Handle physical demands including mobility on construction sites and working at height.
