Job summary

CoVolt Power is seeking a Field Electrical Superintendent to lead the on-site electrical team for a major utility-scale project. You will supervise electricians, review drawings, and ensure construction aligns with design and safety standards.

You will coordinate material deliveries, track progress, and enforce schedules while mentoring staff. A Electrical Engineering degree or equivalent experience is required, with strong NEC knowledge and safety focus.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of electrical theory and NEC standards.
• Experience with means and methods of electrical activities including cable trenching and equipment installation.
• Ability to interpret construction drawings and identify discrepancies between drawings and installations.
• Ability to manage and execute a construction schedule and understand critical path.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor the team of electrical superintendents.
• Supervise and coordinate the activities of your team to keep the electrical subcontractors on schedule.
• Track and communicate progress with daily reports and meetings with project team and owner.
• Review engineering drawings and ensure compliance with approved design.
• Coordinate material delivery, receipt and tracking with project team.
• Promote a strong safety culture on site and review JSA/JHA prior to work.
• Review and supervise installation, testing, LOTO, and energization procedures.
