Job summary

CoVolt Power is seeking a field-based Electrical Superintendent to work with the Project Management team on the electrical scope for utility-scale projects. You will help ensure work aligns with the owner's contract and project schedule, coordinating with vendors and subcontractors to meet milestones.

The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in electrical theory, NEC standards, and the ability to read construction drawings while prioritizing safety and timely delivery.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of electrical theory and NEC standards.
• Ability to interpret construction drawings and identify discrepancies.
• Experience with means and methods of electrical activities including trenching, installation, terminations, and testing.
• Ability to understand and execute a construction schedule and identify critical path.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor the team of electrical superintendents.
• Supervise and coordinate activities to ensure subcontractors adhere to the project schedule.
• Track and communicate progress via daily reports, updates, and meetings.
• Review drawings and ensure construction complies with the approved design.
• Coordinate delivery, receipt, and tracking of material from electrical vendors.
• Promote a safety culture with all subcontractors on site.
• Evaluate and sign off on excavation, hot work, and other permits for safety compliance.
• Review installation, testing, LOTO, and energization procedures.
