Job summary

IMEG Corporation is seeking an Electrical Project Engineer to lead electrical design as a project manager or lead engineer on low to moderate complexity buildings. You’ll mentor staff and coordinate with clients, manage budgets and schedules, apply code requirements, and deliver integrated electrical solutions with senior staff.

Houston area opportunities with travel up to 10%. You’ll use AutoCAD, Revit, SKM, and AGi32 to create designs, participate in bid and construction phases, and ensure

Qualifications

• BS in Electrical Engineering is required.
• PE license preferred; 2+ years in building design.
• Experience with electrical systems design for buildings.
• Ability to lead design reviews and communicate with clients.

Responsibilities

• Lead design efforts for electrical systems and create detailed designs and calculations.
• Interact with clients to understand needs and communicate technical information.
• Plan budgets and schedules to meet project deadlines.
• Document design decisions and monitor project progress.
• Provide in-process design reviews of electrical design and specs.
• Ensure designs meet IMEG quality standards and client requirements.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver integrated solutions.
• Oversee projects through bidding and construction administration.
