Job summary

IMEG is seeking an Electrical Project Engineer in Chicago, IL to lead design efforts and manage projects. You will work closely with engineers and consultants to provide solutions for building electrical systems, ensuring project success.

The ideal candidate has a BS degree in Electrical Engineering, a PE license, and at least 5 years of building design experience. You'll work within budgets, mentor team members, and lead cross-functional collaboration.

With competitive salary range of $98,000 – $128,000, IMEG offers a comprehensive benefits package including health insurance, retirement plans, and generous PTO.

Qualifications

• 5 years of experience minimum required in building design consulting.
• Knowledge of circuit theory, electromagnetism, power systems, and electronics.
• Ability to train and mentor less experienced staff.

Responsibilities

• Lead design efforts for the analysis and design of electrical systems.
• Create detailed designs and specifications using engineering software.
• Support project planning, budgeting, and execution.
