Job summary

MPR Associates, Inc. seeks a Lead Electrical Power Engineer for our Burlington, MA office to lead power system analyses and design efforts for utility, federal, and industrial projects.

You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and clients to deliver reliable, safe, and compliant electrical solutions across evolving grid and infrastructure initiatives. Required are 5+ years in electrical power engineering, strong analytical capability, and experience with MATLAB/ETAP/PSCAD among other

Qualifications

Bachelor or Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from ABET-accredited university.
At least 5 years of experience in electrical power systems.
Familiarity with IEEE standards and NERC regulations.
Experience using electrical analysis tools such as MATLAB, ETAP, EMTP-RV, PSCAD, and ANSYS.
Ability to work with engineers from diverse backgrounds on multi-disciplinary projects.
Naval Nuclear Power experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

Plan and lead electrical power system analysis and design efforts.
Engage with clients including engineering, management, and maintenance teams.
AC and DC power system studies and equipment evaluations.
Oversee design verification testing and installation activities.
