We seek Electrical Systems Engineers to join our team to design, analyze, and test power systems for utility, commercial, and federal clients. Offices are in Alexandria, East Lyme, Burlington, and Salt Lake City, with roles involving design, procurement, installation, and commissioning across a range of energy projects and substations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET-accredited university required.
• Master's degree in Electrical Engineering is a plus.
• At least three years of work experience in electrical power systems.

Responsibilities

• Develop electrical designs for power systems including technology selection of inverter-based resources and equipment specification.
• Create single line diagrams, interconnection diagrams, detailed drawings, specifications, and layouts of equipment.
• Validate designs that satisfy NFPA 70, IEEE, NERC, ISO, Local Utility and other applicable standards.
• Perform electrical power system analyses including load flow, short circuit, protection coordination, and transient studies.
• Investigate electrical system problems, conduct failure analyses, and evaluate alternatives to improve performance and reliability.
