Job summary
Lake Superior Consulting is seeking an Electrical Power Engineer to join our growing team, delivering design, analysis, and upgrades for industrial power systems from concept through commissioning. You will lead electrical scope on projects and mentor junior staff, collaborating with clients, contractors, and vendors.
We offer flexible work location (hybrid or remote) and a competitive salary with benefits; travel to project sites is expected around 10% as required, with opportunities to work
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from an ABET-accredited program.
Responsibilities
- Lead the electrical scope on moderate to large projects, including scope definition, hour estimates, schedule input, and change management.
- Coordinate electrical work with other disciplines and manage workflow to meet milestones.
- Provide technical direction and mentorship to engineers and designers.
- Interface with clients, contractors, and vendors; participate in design reviews and safety reviews.
- Support energization, startup, and commissioning activities.
