Job summary

Amteck is hiring an Electrical Foreman for a new construction project in Atlanta, GA. The role oversees a crew of Helpers, Apprentices, and Journeyman electricians, ensuring quality and adherence to NEC guidelines while mentoring the team on site.

The Foreman will develop manpower schedules, prepare material lists, and drive production to meet budget goals. Strong leadership and bluebeam/Navisworks familiarity are desirable.

Qualifications

• 7-10 years of electrical construction experience in commercial/industrial settings.
• Ability to lead, mentor and coach a crew of ~5 electricians.
• Read and understand project blueprints and schematics.
• Understand safety requirements and enforce company policy on site.
• Communicate with other trades and supervise daily tasks.

Responsibilities

• Lead Journeymen, Helpers and Apprentices on the job site.
• Ensure work quality meets high standards and schedule.
• Develop manpower schedules for the team.
• Create material lists from layouts and job-site demands.
• Meet production and budget goals via effective team communication.
• Ensure compliance with local codes and NEC guidelines.
• Measure, cut, bend, thread, assemble, and install conduit.
• Install and terminate electrical devices and panels.
• Interpret project specs, blueprints, and schematics.
• Lay out work areas from drawings and project docs.
