Job summary

Amteck is seeking an Electrical Foreman for a new construction project in Atlanta, GA. The role oversees a crew of Helpers, Apprentices, and Journeyman electricians, directing installation, alterations, and repairs while training and evaluating staff.

The Foreman will lead safety, quality control, and schedule adherence, ensuring work aligns with NEC and project specifications. Strong leadership and blueprint-reading skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Demonstrates leadership abilities with the capability and desire to grow in this area.
• Able to lead, mentor and coach teams of roughly five Helpers, Apprentices and Journeyman Electricians.
• Ability to read and understand project specifications, blueprints and schematics.
• Comfort coordinating with other trades and supervising contract-related documents.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor Journeyman, Helpers and Apprentices on the job site.
• Ensure work quality meets high standards and project specs.
• Develop manpower schedules for the crew and communicate needs to supervision.
• Create material lists from layouts and job site demands for supervision.
• Help achieve production and budget goals through clear communication with the team.
• Ensure all work complies with local codes and NEC guidelines.
• Measure, cut, bend, thread, and install electrical conduit and devices as required.
