Job summary

Amteck is seeking an Electrical Foreman for a new construction project in Atlanta, GA. The Foreman Electrician will lead a crew of Helpers, Apprentices, and Journeyman electricians, oversee installation, and ensure safety and quality on site.

You will mentor staff, read blueprints, coordinate schedules, and manage materials to meet production goals while adhering to NEC and client specs.

Qualifications

• 7–10 years of electrical construction experience in commercial/industrial settings.
• Proven leadership with ability to coach a crew of ~5 electricians.
• Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints, specs, and schematics.
• Able to develop manpower schedules and coordinate with supervision.
• Committed to safety and quality, adhering to NEC and local guidelines.
• Willing to work weekends and overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor journeyman, helpers and apprentices on site.
• Ensure work quality meets high standards and project specs.
• Develop material lists from layouts and communicate to supervision.
• Assist in developing manpower schedules for the team.
• Install and terminate electrical devices and conductors per plans.
• Read project specs, blueprints, and schematics.
• Ensure compliance with NEC and local codes.
• Work with team to meet production and budget goals.
• Use BlueBeam/Navisworks to understand project plans when needed.
