• 7–10 years of electrical construction experience in commercial/industrial environments.
• Proven leadership abilities and desire to grow as a Foreman.
• Ability to read and interpret project specs, blueprints, and schematics.
• Strong communication with trades and supervision teams.
• Familiar with NEC guidelines and safety compliance.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor Journeyman, Helpers and Apprentices on the job site
• Work alongside their crew and ensure quality of work to high standards
• Develop manpower schedule for their team
• Develop material lists from layouts and job site demands
• Help achieve production and budget goals by communicating needs to the team
• Ensure all work complies with local and NEC guidelines
• Measure, cut, bend, thread, assemble and install conduit
• Install and terminate electrical devices, fixtures, panels and feeder conductors
• Read and understand project specs, blueprints, schematics
• Lay out small areas of work from drawings, including underground layout
• Determine wire, conduit and junction box sizing
• Perform basic troubleshooting of lighting and power circuits
