Job summary

Comfort Systems USA is seeking a Foreman Electrician to lead a crew of Helpers, Apprentices and Journeyman electricians on commercial and industrial projects. You will oversee installation, alteration and repair work while training and evaluating your team to meet the highest standards.

You will read project specifications and blueprints, develop material lists from layouts, and coordinate with supervision to ensure on-time, within-budget execution.

Qualifications

• 7-10 years of electrical construction experience in commercial/industrial settings.
• Proven leadership ability to coach a crew of ~5 workers.
• Ability to read blueprints and project specifications.
• Strong communication and coordination with trades.
• Willingness to work weekends/overtime when required.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor Journeyman, Helpers and Apprentices on the job site.
• Ensure quality work meets high standards and safety guidelines.
• Develop manpower schedule and assemble material lists.
• Install and terminate electrical devices and conductors per specs.
• Read project documents and lay out work from drawings.
• Train and evaluate crew performance.
