Job summary

DEPCOM Power, Inc. is seeking an Electrical Field Engineer to support construction activities at utility-scale solar sites.

The role emphasizes electrical and high-voltage systems during field builds and requires a proactive, safety‑minded approach, with readiness to relocate to project sites across the U.S. In this position you will coordinate inspections with AHJs, manage RFIs, review submittals, supervise subcontractors, and help prepare electrical specifications.

Qualifications

• Professional electrical experience in industrial, utility-scale, or power generation settings.
• Experience supporting field construction under schedule-driven deadlines.
• Experience creating reports, tracking issues, and compiling field data.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Support on-site electrical and HV construction activities, including substations and collection systems.
• Coordinate inspections with AHJs and authorities.
• Create First Article Inspections to verify installations meet specs.
• Manage RFIs between construction teams, engineers, and project owners.
• Review submittals for compliance with project specs.
• Operate drones to capture progress and field conditions.
