Job summary

Rosendin Electric, Inc. is seeking a Senior Estimator to lead bid development for electrical construction projects in the United States. You will prepare estimates from takeoffs, review specs, and coordinate with estimators, suppliers, and clients to deliver competitive proposals.

You’ll mentor junior estimators, analyze scope, and ensure timely completion of all client-required documents while maintaining Rosendin’s standards and estimating programs.

Qualifications

• Read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings.
• Estimate all types of projects and coordinate group efforts.
• Mentor and assist with the development of Estimators.
• Identify and meet customers’ needs and requirements.

Responsibilities

• Prepare estimate from quantity take-off and complete the estimate for bid packages.
• Review proposal specifications and drawings; attend pre-bid meetings to determine scope and contents.
• Develop labor productivity and unit costs based on site conditions and historical data.
• Solicit quotes from suppliers/subcontractors and review for completeness and conformance with plans.
• Ensure timely completion of all client-required documents and bid packages.
• Provide leadership to personnel preparing discipline sub estimates for bids.
