Job summary

PacifiCorp is seeking experienced engineers to lead design, installation, and commissioning of critical electrical systems at the Dave Johnston Power Plant. The role emphasizes hands-on onsite work, cross-functional collaboration, and leadership of engineering teams.

Applicants should have a Bachelor's in engineering and at least five years in power systems, with knowledge of DCS, PLCs, and regulatory compliance. This is a full-time, 100% onsite role located in Glenrock, WY.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering.
• Minimum of five years in industrial power systems or related experience.
• Demonstrated leadership and project management capabilities.
• Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Knowledge of NEC and applicable codes.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, installation, and commissioning of industrial electrical systems (DCS, MV switchgear, 480V distribution).
• Oversee planning, licensing, construction, operation, and maintenance of the generation facility.
• Manage testing, troubleshooting, site inspections, and regulatory compliance.
• Mentor engineers and CETs; manage capital and O&M project budgets.
