Job summary

PacifiCorp is seeking highly qualified engineers to maintain and improve the Dave Johnston Power Plant’s critical assets. You will lead design, installation, and commissioning of DCS, switchgear, transformers, and related equipment, while planning and overseeing regulatory compliance and maintenance.

Multiple levels are available based on education and experience. This 100% onsite role in Glenrock requires strong project leadership, NEC knowledge, and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• Five+ years in industrial power systems or electric utility experience.
• PM and leadership skills with ability to manage timelines and budgets.
• Familiarity with NEC, regulations, and cross-functional collaboration.
• Proficient with PCs and engineering tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, installation, and commissioning of industrial electrical systems (DCS, switchgear, transformers, 480V, etc.).
• Plan, design, license, construct, operate, and maintain the generation facility.
• Oversee testing, troubleshooting, and regulatory compliance.
• Mentor engineers and CETs; manage capital and O&M projects.
• Coordinate project timelines and budgets; participate in on-call rotations.
