Valar Atomics is hiring a Lead Electrical Engineer to build and lead our electrical engineering team across Reactor, Nuclear Fuel Manufacturing, and Power Distribution. You will own the electrical architecture end-to-end, from utility interconnection to LV process systems, and serve as the senior technical voice for the group.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering required or closely related field.
• 10+ years of electrical engineering experience in power generation, utility, process, or industrial projects.
• Proven experience leading an electrical engineering team and hiring engineers.
• Demonstrated design proficiency across LV, MV, and HV systems and protection.
• Strong knowledge of NEC/NFPA, IEEE standards, and grid interconnection requirements.

Responsibilities

• Build and lead the electrical engineering team across Reactor, Nuclear Fuel Manufacturing, Power Generation, and Power Distribution.
• Own electrical architecture end-to-end from utility interconnection to LV process systems.
• Direct engineering outputs, scope, schedule, and budget; mentor engineers on career progression.
• Coordinate with I&C, mechanical, process, and safety engineers in design reviews and licensing activities.
• Lead vendor engagement for major electrical packages and oversee technical bid evaluations.
