Job summary

CRB Group in Saint Louis, MO, seeks an Electrical Engineer IV to lead electrical design on large, complex projects. The role oversees budgets, schedules, and coordination with clients and contractors, delivering high-quality electrical solutions for new construction.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years in design environments, PE registration, and strong GMP knowledge. This role directs and mentors staff, ensuring compliance with codes and client goals.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Architectural Engineering.
• 10+ years of experience, preferably in a design firm setting.
• Professional Engineering (PE) registration.
• Preferred: Advanced GMP manufacturing environments knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary electrical discipline lead for large, complex projects.
• Manage project budgets and schedules from an electrical design perspective.
• Interface with clients, contractors, and external stakeholders.
• Lead electrical system design programming and master planning.
• Design and engineer electrical systems for new builds, including power distribution, lighting, grounding and bonding.
• Oversee quality assurance for electrical design documents, calculations, and specifications.
• Provide mentorship to junior engineers and designers.
• Support construction activities including RFIs, submittal reviews, and progress reporting.
• Develop and deliver internal training on electrical design best practices.
• Collaborate with Project Managers on proposals, resource planning, and scheduling.
