Job summary

CRB is seeking an Electrical Engineer IV to serve as the discipline lead on multiple projects, overseeing electrical design and budgets across stages from concept to implementation for life sciences and food & beverage facilities.

You will mentor staff, coordinate with clients and partners, ensure code compliance, and design systems including 4160V, 480V, lighting, grounding, and special systems, with strong emphasis on quality and delivery. ABET degree and PE required, 10+ years experience.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited B.S. in Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in electrical design.
• Professional Engineer (PE) registration.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary electrical discipline lead for large, complex projects.
• Manage project budgets and schedules from an electrical design perspective.
• Interface with clients, contractors, and external stakeholders.
• Lead electrical system design programming and master planning.
• Design and engineer electrical systems for new builds (4160V, 480V, 240V, 120V).
• Oversee QA for electrical design documents, calculations, and specs.
• Provide mentorship to junior engineers and designers.
• Support construction activities (RFIs, submittals, punch lists, progress reports).
• Develop and deliver internal training on electrical design practices.
• Collaborate on proposals, resource planning, and scheduling for electrical scope.
