Job summary

CRB is seeking an Electrical Engineer IV to serve as the discipline lead on large, complex projects. You will oversee electrical design, manage budgets, and coordinate with clients, contractors, and internal teams throughout all project phases.

You will design and engineer electrical systems for new construction, including medium- and high-voltage distribution, lighting, grounding, and special systems, while mentoring junior staff and ensuring QA of documents and calculations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Architectural Engineering (ABET-accredited).
• Minimum of 10 years of experience, preferably in a design firm setting.
• Professional Engineering (PE) registration.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary electrical discipline lead for large, complex projects.
• Manage project budgets and schedules from an electrical design perspective.
• Interface with clients, contractors, and external stakeholders.
• Lead electrical system design programming and master planning.
• Design and engineer electrical systems for new builds, including power distribution, lighting, grounding/bonding, and special systems.
• Oversee quality assurance for electrical design documents, calculations, and specifications.
• Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior engineers and designers.
• Support construction activities, including RFIs, submittal reviews, punch lists, and progress reporting.
